Well, well, well;
people collect all sorts of funny things, and I have a collection of BRICKS with Names on!
For no reason at all, just for something different!

Following are some pictures of what I have so far - more coming as I get time.
When I get organised, I will put in a link that will give you more info about the brick, about the people behind the brick, and the company concerned. And yes, I still want more BRICKS!

	HOMEBUSH Two bricks that I found in Glen Tunnel, along with some Garden Edges, Thanks to Ken and Barbara Howard for these samples. Two different moulds, one just says HOMEBUSH, other has N.Z. underneath. More details here HERE!

	K-G-UNIFRAX BW Also found in the Glen Tunnel Area. Now spelt correctly - "It is from the now "extinct" Kamo Green Refractories brick plant, in Kamo, Whangerai, Northland. More details at click here!

	KAMO (Northland) Two bricks from Kamo, thanks to Betty at Meldrum House. Have located a little bit of history, click here!

	GLENBURN - AVONDALE Glenburn was an old brick making area in West Auckland, between Avondale, New Lynn and Blockhouse Bay.

	Obsidiante Reg. Design and Acid Proof! They were made by Charles Davison of Buckley, Flintshire, North Wales. They also made Adamantine and several other brands. Thanks Dave of www.penmorfa.com for this information, it's appreciated!

	RUSSELL & BIGNELL - WANGANUI New item about this brick

	Huntly Fire Brick Bricks were first made in Huntly from 1884, and still going on the same site! Here's the start.....

	Clayton Bit hard to read but think it says Clayton & Co Patent

	ANDY CORDELL REDS A good friend, Jim Payne (www.jughandles.com) from the USA said to me 'look out for a little something in the mail". 5 days later, by Airmail - this brick arrived!! and from another source came this history.

	HOUSTON Jim Payne (www.jughandles.com) has done it again! Another USA Brick from Houston

	My First Chimney Pot No makers name, Look a bit like it could be made by Crum.

Well that's a start, Have to go out and find some more soon. And yes, we welcome donations of named bricks!
