Hi Folks,
The Huntly Lions have called a meeting and from that meeting a Huntly Seniornet has been formed.
Now the hard work starts! We have to raise at least $20,000; we have to find suitable premises, and we have to become an incorporated Society.
All this as soon as possible!
Brief History to date:
Wednesday Oct 10th 2001. First general Meeting at the Civic Theatre - from this meeting the following committee have been elected!

Committee: Barry Fransham, Ron Collis, Graham Kenyon, Judith Foy, Jill Bouwknegt, and John Adamson.
From October till January your committee have been working hard! After the disappointment of our expensive rooms, we have now found more suitable Premises! and
no problems with the lease or the Landlord! So the cleaning starts, painting starts, and look forward to a big announcement very shortly!!
We should be almost ready to roll with one computer - middle of February!!
Little bit slow in updates - sorry
Now have 3 computers thanks to Pub Charity (Rangiriri Tavern (Mauve McAllister)), plus another thanks to Genesis, More Grants in for more equipment!
We have had our first open day WOW!! That was on 25th Feb. Also our first "chat Meeting" where Greg Allen of Allenmara Computers gave us a quick review of our computers!
And our Official opening!! The 6th of June!!
Opened by our Mayor Mr Peter Harris, attended by Grant Sidaway (ambassador of Telecom and Xtra) Chairman Peter Gregson and many of our members and visitors!
It was a great ocassion! And we were also presented with a plaque celebrating 10 years of Seniornet in New Zealand!
