Workshop: Celebrating Colour on Cloth

The workshop will give you the best of 10 years of dyeing fabric, especially on Silk, my favourite!
We have for you the most popular and successful techniques.
Shibori Arashi (Pole wrapping) folding, clamping, and stitching. We do discharge and rust dyeing, dyeing of raw silk and a view of other surprises to give your cloth personality. We work mainly in silk but we will do some techniques on cotton. After these 4 days your life will now be more colourful.

Brief Profile of Yanny Split

From fashion designer in the 1980's, moving into being a fabric artist in the 90's. Falling in love with silk dyeing and painting and surface design - to give garments more personality and let them stand out with colour and design. Teaching for the last 16 years but also learning new tricks every year.

Cost of the Course is $350.00, and kitset at $50.00

A kitset will contain all the silk and cotton, and all the dyes you need to complete your samples and techniques that you learn at the workshop A list of what is required will be sent out to you after enrolment, and will also be placed on our website.
