Course Dates: Saturday 16th till Tuesday 19th January 4 Days of Joy
This is a mixed media workshop. We aim to experiment with ideas for surface design, creating new and interesting textures, explore designing and combining different techniques to get a very personal statement with your fabric art.
We learn about concept and talk about approaches to your individual piece, a set of three, or a large installation. We work on a 3D construction, and we give the sewing machine a good workout, and we will also do handstitching.
This workshop is for people familiar with free machine embroidery and want to push their own boundaries. We create lots of samples and have lots of new ideas that will keep us going for the rest of the year.
A list of what to bring will be sent out closer to the date and will be placed on this website
